1 – The benefits of Invisalign
One of the big reasons people choose Invisalign is because it’s hard to see. The clear trays are almost invisible, so many folks feel less self-conscious wearing them compared to metal braces. People may notice them, but since they are clear, they don’t stand out as much as metal braces.

2 – The treatment process
Starting with Invisalign isn’t complicated. The first thing that will happen is you’ll have a consultation with your dentist. If it is, they’ll take pictures and digital scans of your mouth. These scans help create the custom trays for your teeth. Then, with a computer program, they’ll plan out how your teeth should move over time.
Once everything’s ready, you’ll get your first set of trays. Over the next few months, they’ll check how things are going and give you new trays as needed.
3 – How long the process lasts
The process timeline is going to look different for everybody. The biggest factor is how much your teeth will need to be adjusted. On average though, most people wear Invisalign for about twelve to eighteen months. Some might need a shorter time, while others might wear them a bit longer.
Your dentist will give you a good idea of how long your treatment might last after they check your teeth. The key is to wear the trays as often as recommended, usually around twenty to twenty two hours a day.
